MCI has collected mintage figures for every modern U.S. coin available from a number of different
reliable sources.
Mintages for all available issues will show on every sub-category page. These can be found by clicking on one of the major categories on the left navigation
pane, then by clicking on any sub-category name that shows beneath the clicked major category name. The resulting page will show a table of all coins issued to date under
that subcategory. The mintage figures (where known) are in that table. The following image shows how to get to the mintage figures located on this site.

In some cases, such as errors and varieties, there is no official mint record of how many coins were made. Like all other sources,
we have grouped the mintage figures for these issues together with the main issue for the date and mint. For instance, since there was no specific record of the
number of 1955 doubled die obverse cents minted, the mintage for this issue is identical to the 1955 cent.
In other cases the mintage of coins of some types for some years (especially the current year) are not yet available. In those listings the mintage will read
'unknown' until we can obtain proper mintage figures and update our database.
All displayed mintage information is compiled from a number of different sources to include, "The Official Red Book, A Guide Book of United States Coins." Permission
has been granted by our sources to use this information.
